Since 2010, I have carried the certification of CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) issued by ISC². This certification requires 7 years of real-world experience in multiple domains of security. In 2024, I became a CCISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer) which recognizes an individual's accumulated skills in developing and executing an informaiton security management strategy in alignment with organizational goals. Throughout my careers, I have continued education and attended conferences to keep up knowledge of the security industry trends and threats.
My membership and board member service for the Tampa Bay chapter of Infragard, a partnership between the FBI and private sector, has also provided a valuable connection to stay informed of early threat warnings of cyberattacks within the USA. Many of the top security professionals and vendors are linked through this group to share informationand undersatanding of attacks and mitigation methods of new security issues.
